Below is our dog grooming price list, all pricing is dependent upon breed and the condition of your dog’s coat upon arrival. Please disclose the condition of your dog’s coat when you book so that we may schedule your appointment accordingly.

Bath & Brush Out – Dog Grooming Price List

Unless your dog gets dirty or smelly because of some unforeseen circumstance, you’ll only need to have your dog bathed once every two to four months. Bathing too frequently will dry out your pet’s skin and strip natural oils from their coat.

Our Bath and Brush out treatment is perfect for in-between grooms, the service includes everything apart from cut and styling – ideal for when your dog just needs a freshen up before their next groom!

Regular grooming offers a number of great benefits to your dog;

• It promotes the health of the dog’s skin, coat, teeth, and every other part of their body.
• It lets a professional get to know your dog’s body so that they can see and feel any changes and find health problems early on.
• It lowers your dog’s stress levels and reduces their blood pressure.

Our Head to Paw package will leave your dog looking and smelling great. The treatment includes:

• Bathed Blow-dried & Brushed
• Ears Cleaned (Plucked if required)
• Eyes cleaned (tear stain removal if required)
• Pads & Paws trimmed
• Nails clipped
• Comb through & De-matting
• Full coat Clip, Cut, Shape and Style (to owner’s specific requirements)

Please note severe matting, hand stripping and flea’s will incur additional charges.  

Puppy Groom – From £15 

Ideal for introducing your puppy to grooming, this service is perfect for puppies from three to six months old. The treatment includes a bath, brush and dry, nail and ear care and a foot and facial trim to keep them looking their best right from the start.Prices start from £15, but will vary depending on size of puppy, coat condition and styling requirements.     

Hand Stripping – Dog Grooming Price List

Some breeds of dog need to be hand-stripped at least twice a year. Hand-stripping is the process of pulling the dead hair out of the coat of a non-shedding dog, either by using a stripping knife or the fingers. If you think this might be something your dog could benefit from, be sure to contact us. Price dependant on breed but on average add £15 to the price for the head to paw treatments.  

Nail Trimming – Dog Grooming Price List

Why cut your dog’s nails?

Unless your dog is so active it wears its nails down, you’ll need to get them cut for the following reasons:

• Torn nails are painful and easily infected requiring soaking and long-term antibiotics or surgical removal.
• Dogs don’t walk correctly when the nails are too long and this strains the leg muscles and torques the spine.
• Long nails grow around and into the bottom of the foot. The dewclaw nail will grow into the leg. Ingrown nails are often infected, are always painful, and make some dogs downright mean.
• Nails help provide traction and increase a pet’s ability to walk and run without slipping. Pets with excessively long nails hurt themselves because they slip and fall.

Ear Plucking – Dog Grooming price List

Plucking your dog’s ears can definitely be beneficial. This ear hair can prevent air flow into the ear canal so if a little moisture or yeast builds up inside the ear and there is no air flow then the dog’s ears can become infected. Plucking the ears regularly to keep the hair from blocking the canal can help prevent ear infections and moisture build-up.

We also offer convenient, timesaving pick-up and delivery service within the York area for all small and medium sized dogs. Prices will be dependent on the distance of your home from the salon.
